For example, CitiBusiness^® Streamlined Checking includes up to 250 basic transactions each month, so it may benefit new or growing businesses. Another option, CitiBusiness^® Flexible Checking, includes up to 500 basic transactions each month and may benefit a growing business with a higher monthly transaction volume.

Any operating U.S. business that can provide the requested forms (Government-Issued Form of Identification and a Business Formation Document) and information is eligible for a business checking account.

There’s no fee to open a business checking account with Citi, and it takes a minimum deposit of just $1. However, if your business doesn’t meet minimum balance requirements,¹ you’ll have to pay a monthly fee. This fee can be as low as $15, depending on the type of account you’ve opened for your business.
