To get started with the Citigold Private Client Relationship Tier, contact a Wealth Relationship Manager at 1-888-500-5008 (TTY: We accept 711 or other Relay Service) to open a Citi checking or savings account. New to Relationship customers can choose their Relationship Tier. Citigold Private Client is designed for customers who plan to sustain a Combined Average Monthly Balance of $1,000,000+. Minimum Combined Average Monthly Balance Range must be met within three (3) calendar months.

What happens if I don't maintain the Citigold Private Client required Combined Average Monthly Balance?

Accepted Answer

If you don’t maintain the Citigold Private Client required Combined Average Monthly Balance for three (3) consecutive calendar months, your account will be Re-Tiered. Your Combined Average Monthly Balance will be reviewed each month in comparison to the Relationship Tier Balance Range requirements. The Balance Range to remain in the Citigold Private Client Relationship Tier is $800,000 or more. If you are automatically Re-Tiered, we’ll inform you of your new Relationship Tier on your Account Statement.
