Using the account number on your Account Confirmation Letter, fund your account today to start taking advantage of all the services you're eligible for. You can fund your account in one of three convenient ways:

2. Manage your account on citi.com

Sign up for Citi Online here and enroll in paperless delivery so you have real–time access to your account and documents wherever you are.5

Once logged in to Citi Online, you can:

  • Access and monitor your account(s) 24/7 through your computer browser, mobile browser or Citi Mobile App3.
  • Enroll in Paperless Delivery and receive notifications when your account statements and other important communications are available online to view, download and print.
  • Move money through Citi Online wire transfers, Zelle®6 or Citibank® Global Transfers, without ever visiting a branch12.
  • Receive, view and make payments electronically to persons or companies in the U.S.
  • View and print checks that have cleared and order new checks.
  • Keep your account information secure with 128-bit encryption technology.
  • Set up Account Alerts7 to stay on top of your accounts whether you're at home or away.
  • Get online and mobile fraud protection, a service available at no charge to you, which helps to cover you against loss in the unlikely event there are unauthorized electronic funds transfers (EFTs) in your Citibank deposit accounts.8
  • Update account information, such as your phone number and email address, through your Citi Online Profile.
  • Chat with us about any questions or concerns you have through the chat feature.

3. Activate purchasing power with global reach

If you requested a Citibank® Debit Card, activate your card using the method most convenient to you:

Call the number on the activation sticker on your card.

In Person

Visit any ATM in the United States and enter your PIN.

Once your card is activated, you'll be able to access your money worldwide.9

Your card includes chip technology to make purchases anywhere the Mastercard® logo is displayed, as well as a contactless feature so you can tap your card and go in seconds.10 Add your card to your mobile wallets, complete cash withdrawals and other ATM transactions, and know that at any ATM displaying the Cirrus®, Maestro® or Mastercard logos, the foreign exchange fees are waived!11,12

Additional information about setting up your Citibank Debit Card:

  • For security reasons, we'll mail your PIN separately from your card. If you don't receive it within 2 to 3 weeks after you've received your Citibank Debit Card, please call CitiPhone Banking or visit a Citibank branch in the U.S.
  • If you'd like to change your PIN, you can do so via Citi Online, at any Citibank ATM or by calling CitiPhone Banking.
  • For replacement Citibank Debit Cards, go to citi.com. If your card is lost or stolen, or if you've ordered a card and haven't received it, call CitiPhone Banking immediately.

If you haven't requested a Citibank Debit Card, you can do so through CitiPhone Banking or your financial professional.

Service is subject to terms and conditions, including transfer limits and other restrictions. Zelle and the Zelle related marks are wholly owned by Early Warning Services, LLC and are used herein under license.
  7. Citibank does not charge you a fee for using the Citi Alerting Service. However, your wireless carrier may charge you for receiving the text messages you receive from us related to this service. Only available with U.S. domestic phones or email addresses.
