Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)

This is a real time gross settlement system run by the State Bank of Pakistan which is used to transfer funds electronically between banks. This facility is available for all clients. There are certain threshold limits in place on a per transaction basis which are as outlined below:

• Swift message format - MT 103 – This can be used to route transactions for amounts PKR 1 million and above
• Swift message format - MT 102 – This can be used to route multiple payment transactions within a single message where each transaction can be a minimum of PKR 100,000 and a maximum of 10 payment instructions are allowed

Above facility is available between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
