CitiDirect BE^SM Online Banking

Our Clients can user CitiDirect BE^® to manage their accounts opened in all Citi countries through a single platform, but they can also use our Infool and MBTI services to obtain balance information or to initiate transfers from their accounts with other banks.

That’s why we have created a new biometric entry option for our CitiDirect BE^® system. By downloading the CitiDirect BE^® application, users can access the application via their own smartphone using fingerprint or face recognition technology, which gives them a faster, easier and more secure user experience.

Biometric Access is a digital identification method that provides access to the system using biometric technology embedded in the user's mobile phone, based on the user's unique physical characteristics (such as fingerprint and face recognition).

It is important to note that if the Biometric Authentication method is selected, physical trait data is not transferred to the Bank.

System Requirements

The up to date system requirements can be found here:

• a) System requirements: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
• b) Hardware configuration identical to the recommended specification for the given operating system, through which the Client intends to use CitiDirect.
• Software requirements:
  Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher with TLS permitted, Java Runtime Environment, Adobe Acrobat Reader application for downloading statemenets

Biometric Authentication

Biometric Authentication is a digital authentication method that utilizes a user’s unique physical traits (such as a fingerprint and facial recognition) and built-in biometric technology on the user’s mobile device. Please note that physical trait data is not transferred to the Bank when the user selects this authentication method.
