We inform you that as of 5 December 2022 effective date Citibank Europe plc Hungarian Branch Office discontinuing the operations of Citi’s Cash Desk.
We continue to serve our Customers with the help of cash delivery and processing companies to carry out cash operations.
Marketed currencies: HUF, EUR, USD, CHF, GBP
Please consult with your Relationship Manager about the possibilities of using the service.
You can negotiate with a Physical Cash Logistic Company to collect the cash at the your location(s). The Company collects and processes the collected cash with its armored delivery vehicles.
Cash processing takes place on the night of the day of collection, and Citibank credits the amount to the company's account on the morning of the next working day. The paid amount is available immediately after the credit. Using a Physical Cash Logistic Company can provide you with great security and minimize the risk associated with cash handling and delivery.
*Contracting for Cash deposits with a Physical Cash Logistic Company can only be concluded with the prior permission of the Bank.
You can negotiate with a Physical Cash Logistic Company to deliver the cash to your location(s). The Company delivers the cash with its armored delivery vehicles.
Local currency bag withdrawal request and bag withdrawal request for the traded foreign currencies (USD, EUR, CHF, GBP) has to be submitted in writing by 1 p.m. two banking days prior to the planned withdrawal date to the Bank to the citihu.documentation@citi.com email address.
Collection and Cash withdrawal services are only allowed based on a Proxy Letter submitted by the Customer to the Bank in advance, in which the Customer informs the Bank which Cash in Transit Company is authorized to deliver and process cash on its behalf. In the event of a change of service provider, the Customer must submit a new authorization.
