Over the past year, we have seen continued transition and transformation as the world has begun to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and look toward the future.
Amid challenging macroeconomic conditions, turbulent financial markets, and the further adoption of modern technologies by consumers and enterprises alike, Citi Ventures has continued to drive innovation across Citi and the finance and tech ecosystems. This year we closed 20 new investments; made 75+ introductions to our internal business partners and helped 6 of our portfolio companies enter into commercial deals with Citi; held 50+ formal meetings with Citi executives; hosted 16 high-impact events for over 18K attendees; and published nearly 100 articles on our investments and the trends we're seeing in the market.
