Bio

Kevin Weber joined Citi Ventures in 2021 as a Senior Vice President of Venture Investing, based out of New York City. He is primarily responsible for fintech investments in the US, with an eye for startups impacting payments, banking infrastructure, commerce, and retail. Kevin seeks disruptors to the large incumbents, but also CEOs who realize the incumbents may become their biggest customers.

Prior to Citi Ventures, Kevin was a founding team member of Synchrony Ventures, where he spent five years. He led investments across fintech, commerce, and healthcare. Select investments include Socure, Prove, Greenlight, ChargeAfter, and Skipify. Prior to Synchrony Ventures, Kevin worked at GE Capital in their M&A group, working to sell nearly $200B worth of businesses.

Kevin received his BA from Cornell University. He splits his time between NYC and the Jersey Shore, all while working to improve his golf game. Outside of golf, Kevin enjoys time at the beach, trail runs, and trying new pop-up restaurants and coffee shops in NYC.
