Jack joined Citi Ventures in 2023 as a member of the investing team based in New York. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing venture investments in early- and growth-stage technology companies. He is dedicated to championing founders who are pioneering cutting-edge innovation.

Jack began his career at AlphaSights conducting primary market research for top-tier venture capital and growth equity firms. There, he connected investors with world-class industry expertise to help them make informed investment decisions. He then transitioned to the buy side as an investor and joined JMI Equity, a leading growth equity firm that invests in B2B enterprise and vertical market software. At JMI, Jack sourced and evaluated high-quality early-stage and growth-stage technology companies in the areas of vertical SaaS, Office of the CFO, and fintech. He also helped pioneer JMI’s lower-middle-market tech buyout strategy. Jack’s love for technological innovation and business-building naturally propelled him into the world of venture capital.

Jack received his bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in psychology from The Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. You can often find him at networking events, conferences, and other professional gatherings around New York City, where he actively cultivates his network of founders, operators, and investors. Outside of work, Jack loves running, cycling, and skiing and enjoys listening to a variety of music and podcasts.
