Daniel is a Product Designer for the Studio team. He uses his skills and technical knowledge to improve the way that products work and look––taking on complex problems and designing elegant, simple solutions that surprise and delight users.
Prior to joining Studio, Daniel spent several years working at top agencies in both California and New York. Most recently he was a Design Director at an independent digital agency, Kettle, where he managed and led design teams on several accounts, including Netflix, American Express, and Apple. Prior to Kettle he worked at several agencies big and small, including HUGE, BBDO, Level Studios, ANML, and Code & Theory. His client lists at these agencies range from startups to Fortune 500 companies across all types of industries.
Daniel graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Economics and a BA in Sociology. Afterwards, he furthered his education at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), where he received a degree in Graphic Design with an emphasis on Branding.
Daniel is heavily involved in the LBGT community in San Francisco, activity participating as a member of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, San Francisco Gay Softball League, and Out in Tech. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his west highland terrier or adding to his collection of indoor plants.
