He was awarded an OBE in the 2017 New Year Honours list for his contribution to the financial services sector. Hiroshi Kawagoe, GM Transaction Business Planning Department, SMBC kawagoe_hiroshi@rk.smbc.co.jp Based in Tokyo, Hiroshi is responsible for overseeing industrial affairs with regard to financial market infrastructures, and has also held numerous critical roles and responsibilities as the leader for respective projects and initiatives, including an international project for the foreign exchange market and a series of national RTGS enhancement projects. Hiroshi has contributed to the financial industry as the chairman of the SWIFT National Member Group in Japan and as one of the national members for the ABMF (ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum). The ABMF is part of the framework determined by the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers’ Meeting. He also served as a board member of the GLEIF (Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation, 2014-2018). The GLEIF is a Swiss foundation established by the Financial Stability Board with a G20 mandate. Oscar Berglund, CEO, Trustly oscar.berglund@trustly.com Oscar joined Trustly in 2013 as its chief financial officer and was appointed its CEO in 2016. His relationship with the company started in 2010, when he was elected to the Trustly board. Oscar started his career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent close to five years in Investment Banking division and Financing Group based in London and Moscow. From 2007 to 2012, he was a portfolio manager at Alpcot Capital Management, where he was part of the team that developed and launched Europe’s first actively managed equity ETF. Berglund holds an MSc in business and economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
