Francisco Tobias Marin
CFO Latin America
Francisco Tobias was named Chief Financial Officer of Citibanamex in April 2016, and became CFO of Latin America and Mexico in October 2016.
He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Citi Holdings, where he played a key role in achieving sustainable break-even as well as in divesting significant businesses, including OneMain Financial. During his tenure, Citi Holdings divested a total of $120 billion in assets, allowing Citi to allocate capital to fund its longer-term strategic businesses. Prior to his appointment as CFO at Citi Holdings, Francisco was COO/CFO for Citi Holdings EMEA.
Over 13 years at Citi, Francisco has also held several roles in Strategy supporting the legacy Global Wealth Management organization and EMEA Regional Consumer Banking. He began his tenure at Citi as an Investment Banking Summer Associate, and subsequently completed the Financial Management Associate (FMA) Program. Prior to working at Citi, he worked in Management Consulting, Steel and Oil & Gas divisions.
Francisco received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth University. He also holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires (ITBA).
