Cash back rewards for your gas spending
The Costco Anywhere Visa® Card offers great cash back benefits on fuel expenses at Costco locations and other eligible gas and EV charging stations worldwide. Here’s what to expect from your credit card:
- Earn 5% cash back rewards on gas at Costco and earn 4% cash back on other eligible gas and electric vehicle (EV) charging purchases for the first $7,000 combined spend per year, and then 1% thereafter.
- Earn 3% cash back rewards on restaurants and eligible travel, including Costco Travel.
- Earn 2% cash back rewards on all other purchases from Costco and Costco.com.
- Earn 1% cash back on all other purchases.
How to redeem your rewards
Costco Anywhere Visa® Card members receive their annual cash back rewards certificate with their February billing statement. Cardmembers who have earned more than $1 in rewards through their December statement closing date and have an open account until the following February are eligible to receive a credit card reward certificate.
- Cardmembers not enrolled in Paperless with Citi have their annual credit card reward certificate issued on the last page of their February paper statement.
- Cardmembers enrolled in Paperless with Citi get their annual credit card reward certificate via email on or shortly after the February statement closing date. Emailed credit card reward certificates are sent separately and are not attached to digital statements.
- You can also access your reward certificate via the Citi Mobile App. Shortly after your February statement closes, log in and click “Access Certificate” to view your certificate on your mobile device.
Once you've received your credit card reward certificate, you can redeem it for merchandise or cash back at any U.S. Costco warehouse, including in Puerto Rico. The Costco warehouse may fulfill your cash back request via check or electronic transfer at their discretion.
