Visit the Warehouse with a Plan
As with any shopping trip, it’s helpful to have a game plan before you leave home. Compare your shopping list with any deals featured on Costco.com, the Costco app or in the Costco Savings Booklet. If a product you don’t need immediately is on sale, it may be worth purchasing at a better value than if you were to wait. Consider an Executive Membership
A Costco membership is $60 a year and gives you access to Costco’s warehouses worldwide, as well as its gas stations, Costco Travel and a range of other services. Your Costco membership includes two cards, one for the Primary Cardholder and another for a designated member of your household over the age of 16.
For an additional $60 upgrade fee per year, you gain access to the Executive Membership. It offers perks that are not included with the Gold Star Membership, such as an annual 2% Reward (up to $1,000)* on all eligible purchases at Costco warehouses, Costco.com and qualifying Costco Travel purchases. Plus, you’ll get access to discounts on many Costco Services.
Use the Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi
If you have a Costco membership, you should consider applying for the Costco Anywhere Visa® Card. This credit card can help you earn cash back on your purchases. There are several benefits to be aware of, including:
- Gas and EV charging: Earn 4% cash back on eligible gas and EV charging for the first $7,000 per year, then 1% thereafter.
- Dining and Travel: Unlimited 3% cash back on restaurants and eligible travel, including Costco Travel.
