The Citi Double Cash Credit Card offers a number of benefits. How do Citi Double Cash® Credit Card rewards work?
Citi Double Cash® cardmembers earn cash back in the form of ThankYou® Points. Cardmembers earn 1 ThankYou Point per $1 spent on purchases and an additional ThankYou Point for every $1 paid on those purchases.
Additionally, eligible cardmembers can earn a new cardmember bonus of $200 cash back (in the form of 20,000 ThankYou Points) after spending $1,500 on purchases in the first 6 months after opening a Citi Double Cash® Card account.
The Citi Double Cash® Card lets you redeem your ThankYou Points for cash back, as well as gift cards, travel and shopping.
Here's how cash back redemption works for the Citi Double Cash® Credit Card.
Redeeming your ThankYou Points is easy. Redeem your points online or call the ThankYou Service Center.
To redeem ThankYou Points online:
Cardmembers can redeem ThankYou points at thankyou.com and through the Citi TravelSM portal.
- Go to thankyou.com or citi.com/travel-offers/travel-login to view our entire rewards collection or bookable travel.
- Add what you want to your cart.
- From your cart, place your order.
To redeem ThankYou Points by phone:
- Call the ThankYou Service Center at 1-800-THANKYOU (1-800-842-6596). Outside the U.S., please call collect at 859-283-8016. TTY: We accept 711 or other Relay Service.
- Operating hours are Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 1 a.m. ET and Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET.
Cash back rewards
With the Double Cash card, you can redeem your ThankYou Points for cash back. Use your ThankYou Points for a statement credit, direct deposit or check by mail.
Travel rewards
Did you know you can book your next adventure with ThankYou Points? Cardmembers can redeem their ThankYou Points – or a combination of points and their credit card – to pay for flights, hotels, rental cars and attractions through the Citi Travel portal.
Shop with Points
You can redeem ThankYou Points at participating partners using Shop with Points. Redeem online and in-store from participating merchants like Amazon, Best Buy, BP/Amoco, CVS, Shell, Walmart and Walgreens.
For Shop with Points, cardmembers may need to link their ThankYou and partner accounts. Depending on the partner, you can use points to cover the entire purchase, part of the purchase or for a statement credit.
Charitable donations and gift cards
In addition to using ThankYou Points for cash back and purchases, Citi Double Cash® cardmembers can use points to make charitable donations.
Use your points on gift cards from over 150 partners in categories like dining, electronics, entertainment, fashion, beauty and sporting goods.
