  • Fiji Airways
  • Finnair

  • Japan Airlines
  • Malaysia Airlines

How to book with partner airlines

Members looking to book a flight with a partner airline can book over the phone with American Airlines or online through aa.com. There’s no need to transfer miles or book through the partner airline’s site.

If you’re booking online, from the home page, click “plan travel,” “book with miles,” then navigate to “award travel” and click “book now.” Fill in your flight details – where you want to fly to and from, passenger details and travel dates. Under options, select “all airlines” from the dropdown menu (this allows you to search both American Airlines and partner airline flights) and search. From there, you’ll see travel options and how many miles each flight costs to book. Select your flights and book with miles.
